Wrocławski Sound – THE IDEA

THE WROCŁAWSKI SOUND has come up as an event taking into consideration all the artists who are labelled by journalists, fans and observers, the Wrocław independent music scene.

THE WROCŁAWSKI SOUND is supposed to embrace open, creative people, artists as well as audiences, who are not afraid to search for meaning and content outside the mainstream. The event is to show to the public the brilliant, energetic and niche side of the young Wrocław artists and to prove to the artists themselves the existing space for their artistic initiatives.

A truly tasty blend has been prepared for the the most devoted music gourmets. It is also supposed explode in the minds of the seeking ones. Its aim is to present the real gems of the Wrocław alternative music scene. Its to show to the young and still unknown but budding musicians that there is a place for them where they can spread their wings and create. Diverse, unpredictable and sublime are the key words of the Wrocław Sound Festival.

WHO?
All the events that feature the Wrocław Sound Festival create an open space for the city’s artists who will appear with their known to the public repertoires, but will also present to the audiences their brand new music and artistic projects. Electronic and minimal rythms, jazz, dub, hip hop, rock and other music genres will be interwoven with the Wrocław artists works and street art happenings. Among many, we’ll see:

WHO FOR?

THE WROCŁAWSKI SOUND PROJECT is oriented towards those who love independent art that doesn’t stick to the mass media criteria, towards those who have open curious minds of all that’s mainstream away, and finally, for those Wrocław lovers who have done much for their city or for its great artists. Therefore, THE WROCŁAWSKI SOUND is not just for anyone.

The WROCŁAWSKI SOUND FESTIVAL is co-organised by the Impart Art Center and the first English-speaking radio in Poland – Radio WrocLove – in close cooperation with Lion Stage Management artistic agency.
