Kołakowski’s Little Book

1

It’s been a few days after the death of Leszek Kołakowski – an
extraordinary philosopher, writer, and most of all, a uniquely eloquent
speaker. To most of his audiences he was known as a professor of
philosophy. Nevertheless, one of his biggest fans has always known him  for
his Tales from the Kingdom of Lailonia – a set of short stories for
children and adults. Dariusz Kuźniak explains how he translated Leszek
Kołakowski’s “little book” from Polish into Spanish and why he stopped
reading it after its publication in Spain in 2008.
