A writer from the U.S. and his Polish adventures – listen to the interview!
Christian Dumais came to Wrocław 6 years ago, but his adventure with writing began much earlier. “Empty Rooms, Lonely Countries”, a book of short stories out now, is partly a result of his travels and partly an effect of his life here in Poland.
The book, which can be bought online (the site also features free samples), is composed of 24 short stories, full of autobiographical details.
Christian was our guest today on the morning show – you can listen to the interview here:

I enjoyed this interview very much. The fact that Christian is my son helps. I have visited Wroclaw twice before and will be there again next week. Both my wife and I love Wroclaw and if given the opportunity, would move there permanently. Now that Radio Wroclave is available, we will be able to keep up with happenings in Wroclaw live time from the States. Keep up the good work.
What Christian did not tell you in the interview is that his older brother is a Special Agent in the United States Secret Service. That meeting with his brother in Krakow is the basis of the “Mad Dog” short story.
