Tonight (Friday March 12th) at 7 p.m., at Klub pod Kolumnami in 21 Sw Macieja Street, there will be a concert by Maurizio Di Fulvio, one of the most original guitarists of all time, along with students from Wrocław Music Academy. Tickets are priced at 8 and 10 PLN
Tomorrow (Saturday March 13th)at 7 p.m. there is the 4th installment of the contemporary dance series – “Wibracje Taneczne / Dance Vibrations” – presenting “Prawa półkula (Right Hemisphere)” by choreographer Marysia Stokłosa. The title makes reference to the right hemisphere of the human brain and the project is inspired by and aims to explore the qualities attributed to that side of the brain, such as spatial abilities, visual imaging and music. Venue: Impart ( Mazowiecka 17). Tickets: 25/20PLN
The Futaba Festival of Japanese Pop Culture, which is brought to us by the STIM group and presented at the Agora Culture Centre will finally satisfy all those who were craving to go to Japan but did not have enough resources. All day tomorrow, the Agora Centre will be a home to a little Japan and all its pop culture as seen in manga, anime and other Japanese fantasies – the display starts at 12 a.m. Also, there will be many more things on offer, such as discussions about Japanese music, theatre, dolf dolls and even some Japanese delicacies. All this for FREE at the Agora Culture Centre at 5a Serbska street.
There is a big event starting on Monday 15th. To commemorate the establishment of the intergovernmental organization of “Francophones”, as with every year, the SCAC (Service de coopération et d’action culturelle) in Wrocław organizes “Journées de la Francophonie” festival. The guiding theme of the festival is French language and the culture of Francophones beyond national boundaries.The main events this year are a concert by Olivia Ruiz scheduled for Monday at 8 p.m. in the Impart Arts Centre , a piano recital by Olga Rusina, and a theatre piece from Mata Gabin.
